I was born in 1958 as the second daughter in a family of four. My father was born in Finland in 1927, and it was a hard life for him and his family during the Second World War. My mother was born in the south of Sweden in 1922, more privileged than the man she met in 1955 in Cape Town. Parts of ”Stars In Sand” I steal from a true story, but I mix it in my fantasy about the past, the present, and the future.
I have been writing since I was little and started as a young journalist. A car accident made me think that I wanted to be safer. I studied to be a teacher. I became a mother of three children, now adults. I have been teaching Swedish as a foreign language for many years, but as a school coordinator and teaching librarian as well.
I still want to inspire others to find their creativity and the intuition we all have to be able to make the world a better place. Because we all make mistakes and the mistakes teach us, and we go on making a difference all life and I hope my writing will make a difference to people who read and listen now and in the future when I am not in my body anymore.

The story is about a boy named Hasse in a small place where Time never came or went. It just stopped there but mum tells him to leave.
The story starts and finishes in other places where girls are and in the end it ends in a secret place where the future is kept.
